TRAINING INFORMATION

OSHA regulations require that employees, working with hazardous materials, be trained to identify hazardous substances. HazCat® Chemical Identification workshops provide skills necessary to comply with Federal Law and make informed decisions regarding the safe and legal handling of hazardous materials.
1. HazCat® workshops are designed for Emergency First Response Personnel, Hazardous Materials Professionals, and other qualified responders.

2. Students receive personal, detailed instruction from Certified HazCat® Instructors.

3. All classroom materials are provided.

Hazcat Workshops

S1702 – $450.00 2 – Day – Awareness

Welcome to HazCatting! This course offers an in-depth exploration of the basic HazCat unknown solids and liquids analysis process – the fundamentals of analyzing unknown materials.
S1703 – $450.00 2 – Day – Operations

This course comprises the last 2 Days of the 4 Day Level I workshop. It is designed to expand upon our basic analysis process to discover how some of the specialty charts; organic analysis, inorganic analysis and metal analysis are utilized in the examination process. Students must have completed the Awareness Level Workshop to attend this program.
S1704 – $800.00 4 – Day – Operations

This course offers an in-depth exploration of the basic HazCat unknown solids and liquids Analysis process – the fundamentals of analyzing unknown materials. It then expands upon our Basic process to discover how some of the specialty charts; char/tar, organic and inorganic procedures are utilized in the analysis process.
S1705 – $650.00 3 – Day – Technician

The HazCat Technician program expands upon our Basic process to discover how two more strategies may be utilized to identify unknown industrial chemicals. These strategies employ the use of our specialty charts and methods; char/tar, organic and inorganic analysis to determine hazards and materials.

HazCat Refresher Workshops

S1701 – $250.00 1 – Day – Refresher

This course is intended for students who have completed the HazCat Level I Chemical Identification System workshop. The one-day program provides a comprehensive review of the Operations level chemical identification process and fulfills the annual recertification requirements.

WMD Workshops

S1802 – $450.00 2 – Day – Operations

This course is the follow-up course to the Awareness program. Students will process unknown chemicals in each of the weapons NBC Agent Categories. The final day provides an opportunity to process unknowns in each of the NBC categories and practice their skills at collecting and analyzing disseminated unknown NBC agents.
S1803 – $950.00 5 – Day – Operations

This course provides in-depth instruction in the analysis and identification of unknown Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Warfare agents utilizing the MicroCat (upon request) and WMD system to identify these potential weapons. Students will practice their skills at collecting and analyzing both bulk and disseminated unknown NBC agents.
S1804 – $650.00 3 – Day – Technician

This course provides in-depth instruction in the analysis and identification of specific unknown Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Warfare agents utilizing the MicroCat (upon request), and WMD systems and Specialty Charts and processes. Students will practice their skills at collecting and analyzing both bulk and disseminated unknown NBC agents. Students will participate in WMD scenarios utilizing their attained skills to identify disseminated WMD agents.

This course provides in-depth instruction in the analysis and identification of unknown Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Warfare agents utilizing the MicroCat (upon request), and WMD system to identify these potential weapons. Students will practice their skills at collecting and analyzing both bulk and disseminated unknown NBC agents.
WMD Refresher Workshops

S1806 – $250.00 1 – Day – Refresher

This course is a review of the HazTech Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Warfare Agents Identification System. Students will process a limited number of unknown NBC weapons surrogates through the MicroCat (upon request), and WMD analysis system to identify potential weapons. The program provides a comprehensive review of the Operations level unknown WMD identification process and fulfills the annual recertification requirements.

This course provides a comprehensive analytical overview of clandestine drug lab chemicals utilizing the ClanCat Chemical Identification System. Students will explore various methods to identify unknown chemical solids associated with the manufacture of illegal drugs.
S1812- $450.00 2 – Day Clandestine Lab

This course provides comprehensive instruction in the analysis of clandestine drug lab chemicals utilizing the ClanCat Chemical Identification System. Students will explore various methods to identify unknown chemical solids, liquids and gasses associated with the manufacture of illegal drugs.
